About Us

Dr. Stephen Katz and his wife, Nicole Katz, opened Concourse Animal Hospital in September 1995. The practice quickly gained a reputation of being honest, caring and compassionate and outgrew the original facility rather quickly. In 2009, Dr. Katz and Nicole opened Bronx Veterinary Center, the largest and most medically advanced practice in the Bronx.

Bronx Veterinary Center treats dogs and cats as well as birds, reptiles, ferrets, pocket pets and other small exotic pets. We offer full wellness services, including exams, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy care and more. We also offer diagnostic, surgical and dental care as well as boarding and grooming.

We accept cash, CareCredit and all major credit cards and several pet insurances. We are very sensitive to our client's budgets and always find ways to work with them to provide the care their pets need. We work hard to keep the costs to our clients low while providing the highest level of care to our patients. Bronx Veterinary Center also offers discount services for senior citizens, multiple pet owners and members of military.
